Business Development & Account Manager – Vietnam (Hanoi)

About The Position

SeatOS is committed to transforming and digitizing the land and sea travel industry, enabling seamless and instant bookings for travelers across APAC. As part of Travelier, the region’s leading land and sea transportation group, SeatOS is establishing itself as the premier Transport Management System (TMS) provider in the market.

To support our expansion, we are seeking a Business Development & Account Manager based in Hanoi, Vietnam to drive growth and ensure long-term client success. This role encompasses both business development and account management responsibilities, requiring expertise in sales, relationship management, and customer retention. The successful candidate will play a key role in acquiring new clients, managing existing accounts, and optimizing revenue opportunities. This position reports directly to the Head of Sales & Customer Success.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Develop and execute a strategic go-to-market plan to acquire new clients in Vietnam, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Identify, pursue, and establish partnerships with key industry players, including collaboration with Travelier Group brands such as 12Go and Bookaway.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation and prospecting to negotiation and contract execution.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and business proposals to mid-market and enterprise travel companies in Vietnam and the broader SEA region.
  • Track, analyze, and optimize sales performance, ensuring the achievement of revenue targets and continuous improvement of conversion rates.

Account Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively monitor account performance and engagement, identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and increasing transaction volumes.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their evolving business needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance their operations with SeatOS.
  • Address customer inquiries and challenges in a timely manner, coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless issue resolution.
  • Work closely with Customer Success and Product teams to provide valuable market feedback, contributing to the development of new features and service enhancements.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Vietnamese and English (both written and verbal) is required.
  • Based in Hanoi, Vietnam (this role requires local market knowledge and in-person client interactions).
  • Proven experience in business development, account management, or sales, preferably within the SaaS, technology, or travel industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve revenue and retention targets, with a strong track record in sales pipeline management and client relationship development.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams and departments.
  • Willingness to travel regionally within APAC based on business and client needs.
