Business Development Manager - Indonesia
About The Position
SeatOS is on a mission to transform and digitize the land & sea travel industry, making all routes instantly bookable by anyone. Part of the leading land & sea transportation group, Travelier, SeatOS is building the dominant Transport Management System (TMS) in APAC.
We are hiring for a Business Development Manager for our Indonesia market to join us on this mission. This role will be responsible for driving the growth of the SeatOS business in Indonesia, leading on business development and collaborating with the broader team on customer success, support, and sales operations. This role will be based in Indonesia (flexible on which city) and report to our Head of Sales & Customer Success.
Responsibilities will include:
- Deliver on our go-to-market strategy for Indonesia, develop and execute effective sales strategies to acquire new customers. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Manage the sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing deals. Track sales performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to increase conversion rates.
- Identify, pursue, and implement new strategic business opportunities and partnerships for SeatOS and in collaboration with the broader Travelier Group, especially our leading OTA brands like 12Go and Bookaway..
- Implement a value-oriented approach to sales with a focus on customer value, leading compelling pitches and product demos to Mid-Market to Enterprise travel businesses within Indonesia & occasionally in the broader SEA region.
- Own ambitious targets and KPIs within your market(s), ready to provide timely and accurate forecasting for clear visibility, regularly tracking and analyzing opportunities to refine and improve processes.
- Conduct in-depth analysis and research to identify new market opportunities, analyze industry trends, and understand the competitive landscape within the ground and sea travel industry in Indonesia..
- Collaborate with other departments,notably Customer Success & Product to help build an offering that meets customer needs and expectations.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English is a requirement.
- Repeated & proven experience in managing the responsibilities outlined above and delivering on ambitious targets.
- Willing to travel regionally within APAC as required by the requirements of the business and clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Deep understanding of Indonesia with experience in the SaaS and/or Travel industry is a huge bonus.
